Bringing Books & Digital Kits to Village Classrooms
In many rural primary schools, children lack basic supplementary reading material and stationery kits. When school hours end, children rarely have academic guidance at home.
YADLIK Foundation launched an initiative to establish weekend community learning corners in partner villages. Local high-school and college volunteers were trained to conduct remedial sessions focused on reading comprehension and foundational mathematics.
In addition to books and stationery, basic tablet-based learning modules were introduced, allowing children to interact with educational games and stories.
βThe children now look forward to weekend classes with excitement. Having their own books gives them confidence.β
Key Outcome
Foundational literacy kit distribution and weekend tutoring support established.
